BEST ANSWER: I am 5'3" and currently weigh 173 lbs if that helps. I ordered a 14Pt size and have gained weight due to surgery since, the pants still fit well, they have a lot of give, both in waist and seat. I bought mine quite a while ago, so fabric may have changed, they launder like a dream, never a wrinkle. I love my pair in navy. I may buy more now that warm weather is coming.

What size is a medium? I wear a 12/14. I see they run large so I'm thinking a size 12?

BEST ANSWER: I BOUGHT THESE FOR MY MOM IN A 12P AND THEY FIT HER FINE. SEEING HOW THEY FIT HER AND IFYOU USUALLY WEAR A 12/14..I THINK THE 12 WOULD FIT. MY MOTHER IS QUITE THIN AND THEY AREN'T BAGGY ON HER. HOPE THIS HELPS.

yes, they run big, but they are rather flimsy and unless you have really thin legs, you need to wear a slimmer under. I was not pleased with mine, and won't wear them.
