What size would measure 27" across laying flat armpit to armpit (or 54" circumference)? I sent customer service an email and didn't get a response. I don't want to order the wrong size. Thanks.

Some reviews say it shrinks when washed and dried some reviews say that it doesn't. I'm hoping for more opinions?

BEST ANSWER: The women's length starts out at about 25", not 26" as stated in the description. I measured from top of back neckline to the bottom edge. Yes, it definitely does shrink in length even when lowest dryer setting is used. Shrinkage is average 2" in length. I love these tops so just wear, wash and dry til they get too short for my taste, then just replace them. They're cheap enough to do that. The person who said these fall mid-hip must be very short stature. Admittedly, I am taller and had a longer torso, which makes it a challenge finding tops which are long enough. I truly wish manufacturer could do something to mitigate the shrinkage problem. I have never used anything but the lowest dryer setting and it still shrinks in length.

BEST ANSWER: I think it's more of a tank top but works as well as a shell. In fact, I use it to wear under other things. The neckline is higher which is what I was looking for.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is fairly close to other brands' sizes. We purchased size mediums and they seem about the same as other mediums-possibly a tad bigger.

BEST ANSWER: Yes It does. Also washed very nice, cold, delicate, dry delicate for a few minutes, smooth it, hang on a plastic hanger, and it turns out with no wrinkles. (Hang damp.)

BEST ANSWER: This top is made from a cotton/poly blend. The fabric is substantial. The tank top could easily be worn alone, but also works well for layering.

BEST ANSWER: Yes this is a high-necked tank top. I don't like most tank tops because the necks are too low. I'm only five feet tall and it doesn't take much for a scoop neck to be too low on me. I love these Blair tank tops.
Could someone describe the difference in the sand, stone & tan. They are showing on my monitor as being almost the same color. I am looking for a khaki color that is a warm tone rather than a grayish tone? Thanks in advance!

BEST ANSWER: I ordered pants, sleveless blouse and an open front cardigan sweater. All were classed as STONE. When they arrived, no two of them were the same shade. The cardigan was a dark tone. The blouse and pants varied several shades from each other. Turns out the weather in Hawaii was too warm to wear any but the blouse. Colors are so fickle on the web.
I need a high neck tank. Can I wear this backwards?

BEST ANSWER: They are 60% cotton/40% polyester. The fabric is a nice weight--not too thin. It is soft and comfortable and doesn't get too baggy. I have many of these--for layering in winter and for sleeveless wear in summer.
how do you recommend laundering? I feel like delicate on a very short cycle is best to prevent "pilling" of fabric

BEST ANSWER: I just toss them in with my regular laundry on a regular wash cycle. When finished, fold wet tank in half lengthwise shoulder to shoulder and gently tug on hem evening up.

BEST ANSWER: I'd say it's a medium weight. I think it is a very nice material.
How are the arm holes? A lot of Blair"s sleeveless tops are usually so large that you can see your bra and skin through the armholes.

BEST ANSWER: I love these knit tanks! I have purchased similar tops from other companies, and they don't compare to Blair's. I don't have a problem at all with the arm holes, although I do know what you mean with certain other sleeveless tops that I have purchased. I strongly recommend the knit tanks, though. No problem with that at all.

BEST ANSWER: I have found they do "stick"/cling depending on the fabric of what you're wearing over them. For most fabrics, it's not a problem.
I will make another comment in hopes it's helpful. Take care with dryer temp. They tend to shrink in length,

BEST ANSWER: It does not shrink and the length is really good. It sits about 4 inches below the waist. i have washed it several times and it comes out great. I wear a med/large and the medium is plenty big. But it fits me just right. I will probably order more in different colors.
Is the white sheer? Can you see your bra underneath?

and it was more of a cream. All the other colors were pretty. I am going to buy some more.

BEST ANSWER: Here is what I believe: Cotton/Polyester mix usually would refer to the kind of material that a good blouse would be made of. (These are hard to find... but great when you do because they require much less ironing than an all cotton blouse.) Cotton/Polyester interlock is more like a super high quality T shirt material but I would say a touch more stretchy. I hesitate to compare them to a T shirt, because the quality is far superior than any T shirt. I have tons of these tops and have loved them for years! For the price and the quality of these tops, you cannot do better than these shirts. Great colors, too! No wrinkles either! I don't think you will be disappointed.
