Yes, this is true to size; if anything slightly larger than normal. However, the material is heavier than expected and feels more like a flannel top. Not what I was expecting. Very comfortable, but I only wear it around the house; not really suited for an office environment. I'm a size 2x; maybe it will be more attractive in a smaller size.

I usually buy a medium if it's 100% cotton, since this was only 60% cotton, I purchased a small. I'm satisfied with the fit even after washing. If you like a little looser fit, stick with medium.

I thought this was true to size. I ordered an XL because I wanted it long but I really needed a L. It is just a little big for me but as I said I really wear a L. Hope this helps.

I think so. I bought size medium. As with all poly/cotton fabrics it is subject to some shrinkage. I take it out of the dryer while damp, shake it and then air dry.
