Is the collar/zipper soft enough to fold over and lay flat?

BEST ANSWER: The collar isn't made to fold over. I haven't had any problems with the zipper. I have bought more than one color of this vest and like them very much. The collar being up helps keep me warm. I sit at a desk at work where my back is to a cement wall and it can make it a little nippy. This sweater vest keeps me warm without the bulk of a full sweater. Hope that helps.

It's soft enough to do so, but the way it's designed I don't think it will. I really like mine, though. I have it in several colors and wear them frequently.

BEST ANSWER: 100% Acrylic, but a substantial feel to it! It has been washed a few times and has not pilled or shrunk either.

Truthfully, I have not washed it! Because I wear it over other things and I'm careful, I can't answer as to whether it shrinks or not. But I will say I have really enjoyed it! Hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: I love the vest I bought and I pair it with a white blouse or a mock turtleneck. If you are looking for a t-shirt type shirt to go under the vest, I would use the search option for long sleeved t's.
