Does the whole sweater run too large or is it only the length?

BEST ANSWER: I would take one size smaller it is large all over, even after washing and drying

Order at least a size smaller. It is big everywhere. Also wash gentle and hang dry. That will keep the sweater from wearing & getting holes in certain places. The dryer seems to take too much of the chenille off. I had that problem & stopped drying them & they last a long time now. If it starts stretching then I would dry it instead of hanging just once & go from there. Dry a little longer than it needs if it has stretched a lot. I have a lot of chenille sweaters so hope this works for you.

It runs a bit large, but since this was purchased for a tall person the extra length was a plus. Let's just say that it is sized gererously.

I find it to be true to size and the length comes just over my hip. The picture on the model is pretty accurate of the fit.

I ordered the XL women's size. It is huge! If the men's sweater runs similarly, I would order the M.
