BEST ANSWER: It is 60% cotton and 40% polyester. It is light weight, and soft. I just throw it in the washer and dryer. It did not shrink. I liked it so much, I have 3 of them.

It's 60% cotton and 40% polyester. I bought one for myself last September and like it so much I bought two more for gifts. It is a great medium weight bathrobe and very soft. Hope this helps.

What does "drop needle" mean?

BEST ANSWER: Drop needle means a stitching technique that makes long stripes in material. Think of it sort of like corduroy in shape but much wider stripes. It is usually done on thinner types of knit material. It's basically a decorative technique and has nothing to do with fit or function of the garment.

BEST ANSWER: snaps that match the material. I bought three of them I liked them so much; however after some period of time, the paint on the snaps comes off. So I have three robes where the snaps are losing their color...some have lost the color entirely and some are in the process of losing it. Hard to wear something like that.

This robe has snaps , I have this robe in grey and also green. I love this robe for spring and summer it is a great light weight with long sleeves.
For the winter I have the long brushed fleece robe that also snaps (item # 53737) it is like wearing a sweatshirt.

Not at all. I've washed it and hung it to dry, did not put it in the dryer. I love the robe, it is so very comfortable. I hope I've been of some help to you. I buy from Blair's probably more than other sites, they do a great job and if you order something that doesn't fit, there is never any problem with returns.

Not at all. I like this robe so much that I ordered a second. The sizing is large. I wash them frequently, I have two robes from spas and I like these from Blair even more, and I am not a Blair fan but wanted a snap robe.
