BEST ANSWER: Tricot is a soft lightweight material that is very comfortable to sleep in. Washes up beautifully, doesn't wrinkle and lasts forever! It is smooth and almost silky!

Material is soft and a little slick; medium-thin. It is not opaque, however, and therefore would need a robe for modest coverage.

tricot, shiny slippery like. I really like it but very see through, you can't wear these without cover around kids.

The gown is made of nylon tricot, but it is a very light weight fabric--not what I had expected.
