Hooded Fleece Jacket

The flyer that came in the Sunday paper said that the hooded fleece jacket was 19.99, but when I pull it up it say's 24.9. Why?

Blair's sizes run small, so if you order large, it will fit as a medium. So most people need the X-large size just to get a large and so you have to pay more. I like the X-large sizes in hooded sweatshirts myself because I often sleep in them while camping out.

BEST ANSWER: This is more like sweatshirt material, soft on the inside but like a sweatshirt on the outside. The hood is double layered so you have the same exterior material on both the inner and outer hood. This is probably medium weight, great for Fall and Spring.

I wear clothing anywhere between 8-12. I ordered these hooded fleece jackets in a large and it was perfect. They really do not shrink when washed and dried. Best product Blair has and I have them in every color offered.

They run slightly big but they also shrink in length. Wash in cold water and do not put in dryer. Even doing this they still shorten up some. Otherwise they are very nice. I have a few colors.

Hi Joan, Blair's sizes run small, so if you need a Large, you will want to order one size up, even though it is more expensive. I like the longer jacket myself and I paint on mine with fabric paint to personalize it (Jacquard Textile paint, Blick Catalog). Pam, Customer in MA.

Hi Jane, Blair's clothes typically run small, so if you order X-large, it will fit as a large. You might find more turquoise in the larger size. ALSO, Blair's hooded sweatshirt is polyester-cotton, you could order 20 white and you could use Rit dye to die your own, tie dye with Jacquard tie-dye kit, even multi-dye--no 2 shirts would look the same. You can do it, Jane! A couple years ago I dyed 20+ white T-shirts into many versions of turquoise & white, turquoise, white and purple, then I paint on them (Jacquard textile paint). And you can do that too!

BEST ANSWER: Howdy Fran, Although the hooded fleece jackets are often not advertised, Blair has them in stock. Make sure you keep the stock number in your address book so it's always handy for your order or tell them you want the hooded fleece jacket that is the longest one or they may substitute. I find the really long variety of their hooded fleece jacket to be great for painting on (acrylic fabric paint) for personalizing. Blair is the only company that i know of which carries this variety of hooded fleece jacket, though I prefer it with snaps instead of zipper.
