Does this dress run true to size?

BEST ANSWER: Yes. The underslip is completely loose from the shoulders on. The dress moves freely over the underslip and feels so comfortable. It will be my "Mother of the Groom" dress next month. It is the most comfortable garment I own! Bette K

BEST ANSWER: I am 73, and 5'4'. I bought the Petite size, and it falls just to my knees. It's SO difficult to find one like this. Love it! Hope this helps you. Great church dress!

Is this a two piece dress? Is the dress itself super sheer? Does the under slip cover the top and bottom?

BEST ANSWER: This dress has an under slip and the dress is sheer. It is very nice together and yes it needs the under slip to wear making this dress 2 piece. It also comes with a matching cloth belt. I wore mine with a red belt and it was very pretty. I highly recommend this dress, looks lovely on and feels great, flows with grace I received many compliments. True to size.

It appears more sheer in the catalog than it actually is. This is not a two piece dress and the slip underneath completely covers you.

I do not think it is an A line skirt. I think it is a bit loose and flouncy at the hem. It is a very comfortable dress for any occasion. I am very glad I bought it.

BEST ANSWER: You can hand wash it in woolite or use the slow setting on the washing machine that will wash it and you hang it up to dry.

BEST ANSWER: This dress is very true to size. I had thought of buying a size larger, but kept the one I have. You might try the 20 regular, but if there's a W22 you would probably be ok with it.

NO, I ordered a 16 W and it was too small. Had to go up to 18W. I normally wear 14W.

Can this dress be hemmed?

BEST ANSWER: Probably, but the fabric is very light and airy, as well as being ruffle-edged. So you might drive yourself nuts trying to do it. The liner might have to be hemmed as well, depending on how deep a fold you made... I would be cautious buying it if you absolutely had to make changes.
