BEST ANSWER: They are a comfortable fit through the thighs, and a little smaller in the waist, but not a big amount. They aren't tight fitting like the skinny jeans.

BEST ANSWER: I would size down since they have spandex for stretch. Happy that there are no belt loops or back pockets - the entire design of these pants is to provide a smooth and sleek fit, thus any extra fabric or detaile (lke belt loops, extra pockets, etc.) defeat the design purpose of this item. Love love love the fit and - so much more complimentary than the heavier and detailed other jeans on the market! These are very slimming and go well with any top with no bulk!!

BEST ANSWER: They are 3% spandex. Mine were uncomfortably large. I've only worn them once. I washed them in hot water in hopes I could shrink them a little but I haven't worn them again yet.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, they sit at the waist and are very comfortable. I bought 3 pairs: taupe, white and black. The white and black fit perfectly. By some fluke, the taupe were too small and I had to return them even though they were the same size.

BEST ANSWER: I have not ordered the petite short. The petite used to fit great until the came out with petite short. Now the petite are about and inch to long. I am afraid the petite short short would be shorter than I want. I can hem the short, but cannot lengthen the short short.

BEST ANSWER: I am wearing a pair of 18W at this very moment and they fit pretty true. The length is just right for my 5'5" frame, the hips fit well, but the waist seems a bit loose to me, which could be the elastic failing after 18 months of near-constant wear. The pockets are small, barely hold an iPhone 6S. These are my very favorite jeans.
