It depends on what your summer temperatures are. This is a mid-weight cotton blend top and I think it's probably fine for temperatures in the 70s. It would be too warm (for me) for hotter weather.

I wear a 10-12 in a top and bought the XL and after washing and drying in the dryer (on delicate), it fits perfectly, so there is some shrinkage.

BEST ANSWER: I'd suggest a large as I think this blouse runs somewhat smaller than it comfortable. Depends on whether you want it to cling (medium) or float (large).

BEST ANSWER: No. You don't need a cami under it but, I do wear a Nude color bra with it.
I have enjoyed mine. Usually wear colorful leggings with it. Dresses up or down
and easy to travel with.

BEST ANSWER: This top has a lot of fullness just in the front. It looks like it is gathered just under the placket area. My personal opinion is that it would not look good with a skirt. The length falls below the hips and has side vents on both sides, so it could make you look a little "dumpy" since you are fairly short. I am 5'5 1/2" and wouldn't wear it with a skirt. I have this top in 2 different colors and wear it with slacks and it is very comfortable. It is a knit material, but isn't "stretch-y".

I love these tops I have gotten every color that they are made in and 2 of the blue. I wear with everything. I love the length cover up waist and hips. I am also 5 4 and I think it is one of the best fitting tops I have worn.

The fabric washes well and doesn't lose its color. It feels like soft cotton...doesn't wrinkle or require ironing. Although it is "tee shirt" material, it doesn't come across as a simple tee shirt. I have two of them and like everything about them. They can "go more places" comfortably than simple tee's.

It did not shrink for me but I must tell you that I just threw it in the dryer for about 5 minutes (just to free up any wrinkles) and then air dried it.

I have narrow, sloping shoulders, wear a 10-12 and bought the XL. It shrunk some in the dryer (on delicate) and now fits perfectly. A large would have been too snug in the bustline after laundering.
