Do these run true to size? I wear 8 but sometimes buy 8.5 if shoe runs small.

BEST ANSWER: I found them to run true to size. I wear a 7 with bare feet and these fit fine in a size 7.

Are the shoes wide in the heel on the bottom or are they a narrow heel?

BEST ANSWER: They are a very normal fit in the heel. Not too narrow nor too wide. I buy the wide width for the front of my foot. These are absolutely fun to wear. I have received so many compliments. Also the comfort is unbeatable. Hope this helps you.

I have 3 pairs of these shoes and absolutely love them. The heels are not narrow. The entire show is very soft and pliable and very comfortable. However, they are not a shoe to take your 2 mile walk in. I use them in the house, for casual dress, and sometimes for slippers. I always get compliments on their appearance. Susan

I bought these shoes but returned them because they were too narrow for my foot even though I bought the wide size. I would not buy them again unless I went to a store to try them on before buying them.

I found the shoes to have a narrow heel so your foot doesn't slip up and down. They are comfortable and with the strap stay on your feet when walking.

BEST ANSWER: No I would not think so you need a sturdier shoe for that , these shoes are soft leather.
