Does it shrink if washed in cold water?

BEST ANSWER: I threw mine in the washing machine with light colored clothing and in the dryer and it did NOT shrink. I wash in warm and rinse in cold and dry on perm press cycle. Did have to press the top as the material is very thin (great for these very hot day!) but only took a quick touch up with iron.

No. Mine washes up beautifully. I do NOT dry it in he dryer. I let it air dry.

Is material so light you can see thru it?

BEST ANSWER: No, It's opaque but not see through. you might see a shadow of your bra if the material is pulled tight over it . I really like my shirt. It's cool and comfortable in the warm weather even with the sleeves. Its great for people that need sleeves in the sun to protect their skin.

BEST ANSWER: It's going to depend on how big you want it. If you want it loose but not so loose that it's falling off you shoulder, I think you can probably get by with a L.

This item ran a bit large (I ordered an XL), so I recommend a large. It's not as long as I thought it would be, but should be okay as beach top. Good luck!
