When laid flat, what is the width of the chest for a size small? What does it stretch to? Same questions, but for the waist as well? Also, are the straps adjustable?

BEST ANSWER: Had to dig this out of the back of the closet to measure it for you. The things a tent on my 5'2" frame and I will only use it as pajamas or to clean house. I got the med petite (ha) No, straps not adjustable. The chest across is 16" (x2) and will stretch to 22" (44") the waist area is like 35" times 2 sides of material is like a 70"waist. Like I said it's made for a giant. Don't even think about it if you are petite or short.

BEST ANSWER: No pockets. Cool dress 4 the summer. Wish they had more colors. It's not knit material which is perfect those hot days of summer.
I wear a AA bra size; would the chest of this dress be too big on me or is the shirring able to keep them up and placed?

BEST ANSWER: I think it would be fine, the elastic in smocking will keep you in place.
Is this dress lined and if so what is the material of the lining? If it is not lined, would a slip be required or is the material thick enough that one wouldn't require a slip?

BEST ANSWER: This dress is not lined and does not need a slip under it.

BEST ANSWER: 100% cotton. It is thick enough that you really don't need a slip or bra just to wear it around home. The elastic/smocking holds you in and the pattern is busy enough that it's really not see-through. A real comfy dress if you live where it gets real hot in the summer.
Does pure woven cotton mean 100 percent cotton?

BEST ANSWER: It appeared to be 100 percent cotton. When washed it does need ironing. Also will tell you that the dress runs very large. I ordered a medium and could have easily worn a small.

BEST ANSWER: If you are not skinny, do not bother with this dress. The top is elastic and very snug to the body. Once the sizing was washed out, the fabric is like gauze. Mine went directly to Goodwill.

BEST ANSWER: That sounds pretty small. I find the measurements associated with the item to be accurate--- just see where you fit in the "size guide." The smocking in the sundress has a bit of cling, as well as stretch to it, so hopefully it will be okay.
