In these reviews the fit is all over the place....some say runs large , others say run small....I am 5 ft 3 inches..a pear shape...big belly , slimmer thighs and legs...I`ve never ordered from Blair before...but from other stores and brands I`m a size 16P...P meaning petite...what size should I order in these Calcutta pants?

BEST ANSWER: If you wear patterned panties, you can expect a faint show through. If are wearing white or nude panties, you wouldn't notice any see through. I don't usually wear white pants because you can usually see too much, but I am comfortable with the modesty of these pants.
I usually wear a size 20 in Calcutta slacks but have put on weight. Need to go up but to what? Size 18 womens or 16 womens.

BEST ANSWER: Yes,there is a size guide....best way is to order the same size you would normally buy. I find they are pretty close to that.. I like them and no ironing which is a plus.
will you ever have the Calcutta cloth pants in 4P again? My old ones are worn out.

BEST ANSWER: I doubt these are warm enough for winters in Ohio. They are very lightweight. But I love them in spring, summer and autumn.

BEST ANSWER: Wrinkly cotton. Never needs ironing. In fact ironing will take the crinkle out of it. Great for travel and everyday wear. I love mine and have worn them for a number of years. Of course I have had to reorder as my size changes. When you first get them wash and tumble dry and they are ready to go.

How wide is the leg the last six inches to the hem? Tapered slacks don't work for my mom-in-always she has much swelling from below knees to ankles.

BEST ANSWER: The pictured illustration seems accurate. They do not flare at all; yet they are loose enough for comfort. The fabric is soft and a bit thicker than I expected but suitable for everyday wear. The fabric type is such that it does not keep a crisp,dressy appearance. I purchased two pair - one in the light blue and one in charcoal. I like the blue, but find the charcoal quite a ghastly color.
I bought pointe knit pants in my normal size (22wp) & they were huge, I don't know if I should get size 20w or 22w in the Calcutta cloth. Do the sizes run the same?

BEST ANSWER: I bought the calcutta cloth pants in my normal size (24W) and they fit very well, except for being too long. I usually try to buy 24WP but these weren't available in that size. I ended up shortening them and have been very satisfied with them.
What is the percentage of cotton in these pants?

BEST ANSWER: I have cut out many of the labels in my slacks like these, so I really had to search...but I did find a label in one pair, and the cotton content is 60% and polyester content is 40%. I really like the combination because they don't wrinkle or shrink like 100% cotton and come out of the drier needing only to be hung up or worn. I have MANY pairs of these and wear them often.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. They are approximately 6 x 9" and large enough for your hand. The edges are finished off nicely and separate from the pants. Plenty of room for keys, lipstick, change and other similarly small items. Not enough room for a wallet.

BEST ANSWER: Pale pink would be nice...I love anything Calcutta....These pants do run big....Love how they wear and wash....The color lasts forever....No fading.....I want a shirt with no pockets...I can not order the pants suit because I am smaller on the bottom than the top....
