Can you cut the material to cover 3 more steps after the landing?

BEST ANSWER: We have 7 steps, semi circle landing then 7 more steps. I cut the piece in two for the two step areas and used the pieces from the last stay=put cover to make the semi circle. I have done this before as this is the main entrance to our home and the beige carpet needs protection. When the Queen visits, we take the covering off. :-)

yes, you sure can cut this item to meet any requirement you may have, it is very easy to cut. we have purchased 4 of these covers over the past 3 years, for different, high traffic areas, and being they are so easy to throw into the washer/dryer and look so nice, we are very happy with our purchase.

Yes, the material could be cut. It does shrink a bit after washing though. I had bought it for a set of stairs consisting of 14 steps. After laundering, it didn't cover the last step anymore!

Yes. I have 2 sets of stairs and I cut mine to fit. I also have a piece outside my kitchen to catch anything that may be tracked. I have washed mine twice and it fits and stays the same.

Yes, easily cut to size with standard scissors. Washable and durable although blessedly thin and lightweight. We have used, washed, dried and replaced for approx 10 years. Love them

The cover works great, and can be cut. However, it is only long enough to cover the stairs rising from an 8ft. ceiling with no extra.

Yes, you can cut it anywhere. It will not unravel. I cut mine into two pieces, one for 8 steps and the other for 7 steps.
