Is the pattern quilted or just printed on?
Rhonda J on Feb 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Each piece is sown together then machine quilted. I am taking it for it's first wash soon to see how it holds up as it is a thin quilted bedspread which is what I wanted for summer use! Be aware that there is no peacock color material on this item which is what I had hoped far. The color shown for borders and trim and part of the star pattern is green not peacock blue which is what I had hoped for. If you'd like I can post how it held up in the wash. I will have to go to the laundromat for this item! Hope this helped.
can you wash and dry?
A shopper on Apr 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it washes and dries nicely, but I would not attempt it at home. Take it to a laundromat and use a large capacity washer and drier. Wash in cool or luke warm water on the delicate cycle and dry on extra low heat. I always use low heat on all my laundry as I don't want to fry my clothes. It may take a little longer, but is worth the extra time. I have been married over 60 years so have lots of experience doing laundry!
I am very pleased with this bedspread and glad to be done fussing with a bed skirt..
Good luck!
Lois

How heavy is the king size?
A shopper on Aug 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This quilt is beautiful and well made. Despite the substantial look, the quilt is actually not heavy. The full/queen is a generous size. I use this quilt throughout the year. All cotton top. Colors are true.
Can i have the shams with the spread?
Dorretha F on Jul 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I?m sure you can. Depending on the size of your bed I would think. I have a twin and since it is nice and long I didn?t feel it necessary. But on a queen or king I think it would look great.
Are the pillow shams included?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Shams are separate. I didn't buy them because spread is long enough to cover pillows. Top of spread is the same as the patterned stripe. I bought a bed skirt because I didn't want the spread dragging on the floor. If you want spread to touch the floor at foot of bed, get the shams. My bed is 28" tall. Advise if your bed is tall like mine, buy next size up. Otherwise get a bed skirt.
Does this spread have the Vermicelli stitching?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you are referring to the stitching pattern that is a random/wandering all-over stitch, then yes.
Where is it made?
A shopper on Jun 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It is made in China--but I am very satisfied with this spread-
W
hat are the deminsions of this queen size quilt?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It is 100"W x 115"L as measured while on my bed. Love this quilt! Actually more than adequate for our full size bed which is tall and has deep mattress. Comes down nicely over the bedskirt I made because I couldn't find one long enough for the tall bed.
what is the length of the skirt drop on the Lacy quilt top bed spread?
A shopper on Mar 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have purchased this item several times and love it. I have a queen size bed with a high mattress and the bedspread almost reaches the floor. No bed skirt necessary with this bedspread.

A shopper on Dec 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's a very nice bedspread and perfect for spring/summer months. Can also be used in the winter if you like a warm bedroom but may need an extra blanket.

Window Measurements
(For tips on how to measure for the perfect bedding, scroll down the page.)

Use the instructions below to measure for the perfect fit.

  • -Use a metal measuring tape or wooden yardstick. Flexible cloth tapes are not accurate.
  • -Be precise. Measure for length and width in three different places.
  • -Take notes clearly. Indicate which measurement is the width and which is the height. It is very common to mix up the measurements.
  • -When measuring, don’t be surprised if your window is not square. It probably won’t be noticeable if it’s a little off. Consider an outside mount for blinds and shades, to hide the imperfection.

Horizontal blinds or pleated shades

For inside mount installation:
1. Determine width: Measure (A) where headrail or roller will be installed.
2. Measure length: Measure (B) from top on inside of window casement to windowsill.

For outside mount installation:

1. Determine width: Measure (C) where brackets will be installed. Overlap the window by at least 1½” on each side for light control.
2. Measure length: Measure (D) from top of the window casement to the window sill.

For vertical blinds, use outside mount installation only.
1. Determine width: Measure (C) where headrail will be installed. Headrail must overlap the window or patio door by at least 3” on each side for vanes to stack when the blind is open.
2. Measure length: Measure (D) where the top of the headrail will be installed to the window sill or to the floor.

Pinch-pleated draperies.

1. Determine your rod width:
For center-draw draperies: Rods can be mounted on the window frame, or any place on a wall you want to cover. Decide your bracket position and then measure the width between the brackets. If you don’t already have a traverse rod, add 4” to each side, left and right, to account for return. Return is the measurement from the wall to the face of the rod. Also, if you intend to open draperies to the casement, or desire maximum privacy, insulation and/or light control, the rod should be approximately 15% wider than the window (multiply width by 0.15).
For one-way draw draperies: Measure your window width, add 4” for the return on one side and 1” for drapery to extend past the rod. Also, if you intend to open draperies to the casement, or desire maximum privacy, insulation and/or light control, the rod should be approximately 15% wider than the window. (multiply by 0.15)

2. Determine curtain/drapery width:
Once you have determined total rod width, use the chart below to determine the correct pinch pleated drapery width to order.

Pinch-pleated draperies.

    1. Determine width. Measure the area to be covered. Unless otherwise instructed in the item description, order at least 2 times the width measured for a full, custom look.
    2. Determine length. Measure from the top of the rod to the windowsill (B), apron (C) or floor (D). Subtract ½” for floor or sill clearance.

Replacing Existing Window Coverings

Measure across the top of panels and down one side of the coverings you already have. Order the closest size.

Use this diagram to help you find the correct measurements.
A – Window width including casement
B – Length to windowsill-subtract ½” for clearance
C – Length to apron
D – Length to floor-subtract ½” for clearance
