My husband wears a XL in Wal Mart shirts, how close to true does the size run on these? I need to get him a shirt for western wedding in April

BEST ANSWER: The High Noon shirts fit very well and don't shrink up like shirts bought at Discount Stores. They fit well and wear well like shirts bought in high end Western Stores. My husband gets MANY compliments and questions almost each time he wears a new one about where his shirt came from?

Because even though Tulsa has some Expensive Western Wear Stores they don't have the variety and reasonable or even better! Sale prices! you get here. I also have bought some clearance shirts with long tails for my husband and he was fine with them. He liked them fine not worrying about the tails ever coming out.They don't on the regular tail ones either.If your purchase is like the many I have bought over the yrs you will be VERY pleased and your husband will be happy to not to have to go try them on.

My husband KNOWS if I order his size in a brand shirt he wears from here it will always fit and he has liked everyone.

Hi,
I purchase a lot of western wear. High Noon like most other western wear runs slightly smaller in size, it is considered a slimmer western cut fit. It's best to size up one size when purchasing western style clothing/shirts. Shirts purchase at Walmart, target, kohl's, etc....tend to be more roomier and wider and considered to be a comfort fit. If the Walmart shirts in XL are roomy on him than you may be ok with an XL in this shirt. If the XL shirts are somewhat snug, then you will want to size up to 2XL when purchasing western clothing, I hope this helps

I normally wear a large. But I bought an X large because they are a slim fit, and it fit fine. I got lots of complements on it too.

What is sleeve length for medium shirt?

BEST ANSWER: My self? At this time, I wear 2X in Womens. I order a 2X in Mens because you have to allow some extra for the Chest (bosom) for it to fit a woman. So although mens runs a bit bigger I would get same size for myself. Same might not be true if I was flat chested. This was probably more info than you wanted but true! lol! RR
