BEST ANSWER: I believe this shirt runs just a tad large, but it's not meant to be fitted. My husband is tall and lean and has long arms. Usually, the large size is too short in the arms, but this shirt fit perfectly in both arms and looked quite nice. Again, this is a non-fitted shirt, so it should be a bit loose and it was.

They run a tad small. So if you are a big guy that floats in a 2x, it should be fine. I usually order a size larger, especially if there is cotton to deal with. By the way, I have been wearing this exact shirt for over 10 years and I love them. So don't buy them all, I may want to re-order.

Seems to be exactly as advertised/pictured. The shirt fit perfectly right out of the
box. comfortable fit, just right for warm summer days. launders well.
I bought the white one; now I'm thinking of getting it in blue..................

If it is Navy, it is so dark as to almost be black. I see some reddish maroon highlights in the shirt mostly in the lace

How long are the sleeves on item 610187? I need 34/35

BEST ANSWER: After replying that the sleeves were only 23" long, I took one of my husband's regular shirts with 34/35 sleeves and measured it against the guayabera shirt. I measured the regular shirt and it appears that the 34/35 measurement is taken from the center back of the collar to the end of the sleeve. I then measured the guayabera shirt in the same manner and the sleeve, using this method, measures 33 inches. Like I mentioned, my husband is 6'4" and has long arms. I hope this helps.

Is it actually cool with 65% polyester and long sleeves?

BEST ANSWER: I wear nothing but long sleeve shirts because I sun burn very easily. I use an all cotton undershirt with a thin wove cotton/polyester blend shirt and am as comfortable as one can be when the temperature exceeds 100 F. I live in the San Joaquin Valley of California. The past few days have all been over 100 F. The shirt is more comfortable then many of my other shirts and not as comfortable as a select few. My all cotton shirts are a little less comfortable because they are a thicker weave so I am wearing more "shirt.

It the best shirt I ever bought and very cool for the hot weather. Actually bought the shirt for my daughters wedding and I was the talk of the reception. It was a very hot and glorious sunny day in September and never got too hot wearing the shirt or cold when the sun went down. Truly, the best buy I ever made. Using it this year for my birthday trip to Columbia with the wife......

I've found it to be quite comfortable in hot weather because of the loose fit worn outside the pant. The fabric is lightweight and the light color (I have white) does not absorb the sun's rays.

I believe it is a 60% poly, 40% cotton mix. If not, I expect it is in a similar mix. The shirts wear well and I never have to iron them. My husband loves them and we now have about 10 different styles or colors.
