Do the panels come in 24 in length?
A shopper on Jun 17, 2016
I just want the panel can I order that way?
cilla on Oct 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you will need more than one panel per window. I was very satisfied with the product..
do these curtains thick enough for privacy too?
A shopper on May 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: If you use more panels that what you measured for you will have the privacy you need. I had to double the amount of panels that I measured for to use in my living room. Also, the first 10 panels I ordered were perfect but the remaining ones I ordered were defective....did not lay straight. These panels are not hemmed on all sides. Because of this the curtains looked crumpled up where they meet and you cannot iron this out....I do not recommend these sheers.
Are these curtain sheer?
A shopper on Jul 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We ordered the Wedgewood color. Because we wanted them to be not quite see through. They are kind of sheer. We love the color.
The picture showing does it require two curtain rods?
A shopper on Jun 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: From what I can see, yes it would need two rods. One for the panels and one for the valance. These are beautiful sheers, and the colors , and the variety of colors is awesome!
Is the swag valances include?
A shopper on May 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The swag valance isn't included with the panel or tiers. It is sold separately. Their are 2 included in the package. If you have a wide window you will need and insert valance to go with it. Hope this answers your question.
is what you see the picture of the first one is the hold window or do you buy 2 per window the white ones are the for the panels behind the curtains ?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They come one panel to a package, so you would need to buy two for each window. I have a very wide window, so I bought a total of four panels, as well as one swag valance and two fan inserts, since I used this as an actual curtain rather than panels behind a curtain. They look absolutely beautiful. You will need to iron them before putting them up, and I highly recommend an ironing cloth (I use a handkerchief) so the iron does not touch the delicate fabric. Perhaps putting them in the dryer for a bit rather than ironing them would work.
re:Emelia panels is 45" length including top ruffle?
Rosemary N on Apr 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The length includes the top ( above the rod pocket) ruffle. 45" is the total length. Hope this is helpful.
What does singly mean? Is that 2 for one window, so for two windows, I would need 4 panels?
Elaine H on Dec 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, that's exactly what that means. For an extra wide window, I purchased four -- two for each side. They are very nice and work perfectly!
Can you just get the swag by itself? I don't see it listed.
Marylin G on Jan 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can, I don't have a catalog but I believe it comes in a package of 2. The fan inserts are sold singularly
in this photo is it 2 panels 1 swag set and 1 fan insert ?
A shopper on Oct 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I can't see the picture that well, but it does appear to be two panels and one swag set. As far as the fan insert goes, each fan insert has one bow, so if there are more than one bows showing in this picture, then there would be more fan inserts. I have these curtains in a large picture window, and I use six panels (because I don't pull them back), one swag valance, and two fan inserts. They look beautiful!
How wide are the rod pockets?
Karen on Jan 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My window is 79" across and I only need 2 sheer panels. If you are talking about the valance, you should get 3. Hope this helps.
are these curtains to sheer for privacy also?
A shopper on May 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I never bought any such
Thing... I don?t even know what this is so please tell me where I bought this item and what is it
Wat do u mean by pocket panels?
A shopper on Oct 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It means you just slip the curtain onto your curtain rod.
Wondering how many rods do I need for each window and for each window does it come with the top valance and two side panels?
cathy on Jan 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My bathroom windows were 36 wide x 45 long. I used two panels on each window and one rod. I wanted a full, airy look. I ordered a set of lilac for winter and a yellow set for spring, which I have not put up yet. I do want to advise mine did need pressed as the 'fold wrinkles' were quite set. I am very pleased with them. Got the look I wanted.
Do you have valance?
A shopper on Dec 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Valance - Item # 603549
I need off white or cream. Is Ecru what I need to order?
A shopper on May 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Ecru is a bit darker than cream

Window Measurements
(For tips on how to measure for the perfect bedding, scroll down the page.)

Use the instructions below to measure for the perfect fit.

  • -Use a metal measuring tape or wooden yardstick. Flexible cloth tapes are not accurate.
  • -Be precise. Measure for length and width in three different places.
  • -Take notes clearly. Indicate which measurement is the width and which is the height. It is very common to mix up the measurements.
  • -When measuring, don’t be surprised if your window is not square. It probably won’t be noticeable if it’s a little off. Consider an outside mount for blinds and shades, to hide the imperfection.

Horizontal blinds or pleated shades

For inside mount installation:
1. Determine width: Measure (A) where headrail or roller will be installed.
2. Measure length: Measure (B) from top on inside of window casement to windowsill.

For outside mount installation:

1. Determine width: Measure (C) where brackets will be installed. Overlap the window by at least 1½” on each side for light control.
2. Measure length: Measure (D) from top of the window casement to the window sill.

For vertical blinds, use outside mount installation only.
1. Determine width: Measure (C) where headrail will be installed. Headrail must overlap the window or patio door by at least 3” on each side for vanes to stack when the blind is open.
2. Measure length: Measure (D) where the top of the headrail will be installed to the window sill or to the floor.

Pinch-pleated draperies.

1. Determine your rod width:
For center-draw draperies: Rods can be mounted on the window frame, or any place on a wall you want to cover. Decide your bracket position and then measure the width between the brackets. If you don’t already have a traverse rod, add 4” to each side, left and right, to account for return. Return is the measurement from the wall to the face of the rod. Also, if you intend to open draperies to the casement, or desire maximum privacy, insulation and/or light control, the rod should be approximately 15% wider than the window (multiply width by 0.15).
For one-way draw draperies: Measure your window width, add 4” for the return on one side and 1” for drapery to extend past the rod. Also, if you intend to open draperies to the casement, or desire maximum privacy, insulation and/or light control, the rod should be approximately 15% wider than the window. (multiply by 0.15)

2. Determine curtain/drapery width:
Once you have determined total rod width, use the chart below to determine the correct pinch pleated drapery width to order.

121” to 144” 144” to 150” Up to: 34

Pinch-pleated draperies.

    1. Determine width. Measure the area to be covered. Unless otherwise instructed in the item description, order at least 2 times the width measured for a full, custom look.
    2. Determine length. Measure from the top of the rod to the windowsill (B), apron (C) or floor (D). Subtract ½” for floor or sill clearance.

Replacing Existing Window Coverings

Measure across the top of panels and down one side of the coverings you already have. Order the closest size.

Use this diagram to help you find the correct measurements.
A – Window width including casement
B – Length to windowsill-subtract ½” for clearance
C – Length to apron
D – Length to floor-subtract ½” for clearance
