In the catalog, this sweater appears with the tropical skirt, it looks like the color sweater they paired with the skirt is the Mykonos Blue color L376, but the skirt color is labeled as the blue lagoon color 8740. Can either the L376 or the 8740 sweater color coordinate with that skirt?

BEST ANSWER: It is not so much cut low, as it is having only the few front buttons, so it is open over the tummy. And it is cut too low for me to wear it alone, though some may be able to.

Not only is it too low cut to be worn on its own, there aren't enough buttons for that. It works better as shown, like a cardigan with a tank or shell underneath.

Are the sizes true or should I buy the next size up in case of shrinkage?

BEST ANSWER: They run large. I wear XL, but they didn't have the size when I ordered, so I got an L. I was skeptic it will fit. Surprisingly not only that it does, but it is roomy. Note: I wash it in cold water and dry it flat, not in the dryer
