Would you say the sleeves are roomy or tight at the armpit? I am a larger woman with bigger upper arms.

BEST ANSWER: I usually wear a Large or Ex Large in a top. I bought this shirt in a Large and it fits well. My suggestion to you would be to buy a larger size than you usually wear in order for it to fit comfortably. I hope it works for you because it's a great shirt.

They are a little loose, and I would not consider them tight in the armpit. You might order a size larger than you usually wear to make sure the arms do not pull. I friend of mine has larger upper arms and I understand the issue. It is comfortable and washes well.

what is the back length of this jacket?

BEST ANSWER: I bought the XL size and I measured one this morning and it is 28 3/4 inches from the base of the collar to the hem. These big shirts have been washed but I do not put them in the dryer. I hang them to dry. I wear these shirts a lot and believe they are the perfect shirt to wear over a t-shirt or by themselves. I own 4 in different colors. They are the best big shirts and always look great.

BEST ANSWER: Sides of the shirt are straight, meaning bottom is same width as the shirt at the sleeves. On medium the bottom is about ten inches wider than the shoulder.
