48 bust 1x or 2x? in-between on size chart. does it run large enough to order the 1x? thanks

BEST ANSWER: 1x should be fine. The problem is, even within the Blair brand, the sizing isn't always consistent. Some things run large, others small. But this top you're interested in has gathers and seems rather full so I would think 1x would be best; I think 2x would be too large.

BEST ANSWER: I love the blouse, it's like putting a tissue on. Light weight. Yes it does run true to size. I would like it to be a little longer since I have a long torso but it's okay. I've wash it in warm water and dried it in the dryer, wrinkle free and it didn't shrink. I'm going to buy another soon.

I usually wear a size Med when ordering from Blair. I bought this top in my usual Med size and it fits beautifully.
