BEST ANSWER: Calcutta Cloth does not wrinkle as much as most of the other cloth and well last along time. Cotton Calcutta Cloth is much cooler and good for Tropicale Aeras

It is cool, lightweight, breathable & the soft crinkles mean no ironing necessary. It's one of my favorites for warmer weather.

The opening is 14 1/2 inches. Personally I do not like these capris. They are a very tight fit all over. I wear them to do yard work. I wanted to wear them for dress, but too tight and the fabric is not great.

I have a 15" calf myself and have never had a problem with this product. I wear a small though a have large calve for my size. My opening measures 161/2. Hope this helps

I laid my capris flat to measure them. the leg opening is 8" (circumference 16"). They are approx. 91/2" (circumference 19") at the thigh.

My pants are size medium, hemmed leg opening 15 inches. I would presume that larger sizes have larger openings.

BEST ANSWER: As I don't wear bright or dark undies, mine really don't show through. I also wear pantyhose with them and that probably keeps any color from showing. I love them!

I purchased a blue green and the fabric is good cotton or calcutta so I would imagine the in white you would not be able to see through it.

what is Calcutta cloth?

BEST ANSWER: It is a cotton cloth that is inherently wrinkly, or looks wrinkled. That is the natural look of it so ironing is absolutely not required. I happened to buy two pairs of these capris. They were great until i washed them. They shrunk even though i washed them in cold water. that is the main problem with calcutta cloth pants. they shrunk so much that they were to tight and not comfortable. I even purchased a size bigger that i wear. I would not recommend them. with so many other fabrics that do not shrink . I am a busy person as we all are so i have not time or money to be spending on unsatisfactory products.

I bought these for my mother. She likes them and they look nice on her. I have no idea about the material. They wear well and wash nicely. Hope that helps.

Calcutta cloth is a slightly wrinkled and material is comfortable. When it is dried in dryer I have never had to iron item.

What is the ratio of cotton to polyester in the Calcutta fabric?

BEST ANSWER: they contain more polyester then cotton, there fore I didn't care for them because they were to hot to wear in the hot weather.

Do these capri's run small or large ?

BEST ANSWER: They run true to size for me. I live in a very warm climate and because of this particular type of cloth, they are always comfortable but will stretch a bit as they are worn through the day. Not a problem for me, but may be for someone else. This is a very important factor to me as I live a very active life, indoor and out.
