BEST ANSWER: The Large TL version of this shirt is WAY overly huge, like the body and neck have suddenly become at minimum an XL to 2XL sizing, and the arm length is at least an inch too long compared to all of the other Scandia Woods L-TL shirts I have purchased over the years. Conversely, the regular Large version of this shirt has arms and tails that are too short even though the neck and body fit more normally. There is no version of this specific shirt that fits me normally like any other shirt would. Very strange, and a shame.

Yes! Shirt was orered and was tagged as XL, but chest size is 2X plus (55") and sleeve length is 3XL (37.5").

BEST ANSWER: I bought this shirt for my husband about a year ago. It has not shrunk noticeably; however, he has only worn it a handful of times, so it has not been subjected to large numbers of washings.

I found no shrinkage in the shirts after many washing... they are made with very good material.

I wash this shirt in COLD water with powder detergent and dry at MEDIUM setting. I have found NO shrinkage in this shirt.

Are these shirts square bottom or long tails?

BEST ANSWER: Really in between. From the sides to the front, the front and rear part of the tail is only 2" longer. "IF" you have any type of businessman's belly it would probably pull the front up to be even.

BEST ANSWER: yes i wash it in cold water, it was purchased for my son and wears nicely just hang it to dry because my machine really spins well and it does come out a little wrinkled.

BEST ANSWER: It is Regular Grande . Or regular large. It is nice quality shirt that is true to size. You could touch up with iron after taking out of dryer but usually wear it without ironing and it is fine.

Don't really know; I can't tell a broadcloth from a steelhead (a kind of fish common here in the Northwest). It's 100% cotton that wears and wears and wears. A shirt I bought in 2010 and worn frequently is just now beginning to fray. These have been my go-to shirts in the fall/winter for as long as I can remember. I have 15-20, mostly in different colors. They're quite presentable straight out of the dryer.

Please explain what Twill fabric really is ? Aren't they a good choice if you like softer, heavier fabric ?

BEST ANSWER: Google can probably answer the twill fabric question better than I; but I would say it is softer and heavier than an oxford button down shirt. i am satisfied with it; but you need to be careful with the washing and drying to prevent shrinking.

Shirts made of twill has a bit more heft to the fabric compared to a typical cotton, so they usually hang better on the body. The fabric generally gets softer over time with repeated washing, and to color also softens over time as well.

Twill fabric is soft but thinner than the flannel shirts. These twill shirts are perfect for not so cold weather. Flannel is much thicker and warmer.
