BEST ANSWER: The waistband is elastic, but the pants themselves aren't made from a stretchy fabric. The fabric is light and cool, but not stretchy.

BEST ANSWER: If you look at the pants on the hanger, they appear slightly tapered. When worn, the pants look straight. These are some of my favorite pants for summer. I have several pair.

BEST ANSWER: Just cotton. It's pretty good. I often just press the pants slightly. If you get them out of the dryer when they finish drying they are ok. Depends on how fussy you are.

BEST ANSWER: YES. You need to wear nude colored or beige colored underwear with the pants. I bought a long tunic to wear with them to cover up where the underwear showed through. They look good when your shirt or top covers your bottom.

BEST ANSWER: Enough. I use them primarily for house and yard work, and trips to the grocery store and home depot because I refuse to wear nice close to those places. I wash luke warm, cold rinse, tumble dry low, remove immediately. I've found that smoothing the pants out on a flat surface right out of the dryer does the trick.
All your slacks are so short @ 29-291/2 inseam. If they were an inch longer I could wear....:( ???

BEST ANSWER: Yes---the fabric is a thin cotton & polyester blend. I iron mine a little, but if they're taken out of the dryer right away, they could probably be worn without ironing. They're not as cool and breathable as a pair of all-cotton pants would be, but still pretty comfortable.

BEST ANSWER: I never had any shrinkage at all . Dry on lower heat if you really want to be sure it doesn't shrink .
