In the catalog it looks like red; but online it looks like pink. Which is it?

BEST ANSWER: I had the same concern! It's beautiful in person! It is red. The striped material has a chambray effect to it (if you will) and the white threads in it give you the "pink confusion"!. But it is red. The embroidery definitely confirms it, also. My mom wears a red t shirt underneath it and it is beautiful on her!

It is red. Sort of a cranberry - not anywhere near a pink color!
