BEST ANSWER: Hi Betty, The hips and waistline areas do not run large and fit snuggly to give you a slimmer appearance. The thigh area allows more room as I have muscular thighs and still have leg room. I really like these pants and have ordered them in several colors----black, navy, brown, grey, white, lilac and medium blue. They are dressy and look nice with a blouse or top for work. Pam

Do these pants have straight legs?

BEST ANSWER: No, these are not straight legged pants. The bottom of the pant leg has about 6 inches of material from seam to seam so the bottom is about 6 inches wide. I really like the fit and they are easy to wash and don't need ironing. I have two pairs of several of the same colors such as navy, black, and white and then one pair of dark brown, medium blue, lilac and tan. They make a nice dress slack and I wear them with dress blouses, polo tops and knit tops.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have a smallish waist and these are perfect as they fit well over the hips (even for someone a little hippy) yet are smooth and fitted at the waist. These are the ONLY pants I buy as they fit so uniformly well. Right length, right proportions. Waist is great.
