Knit Sweater Vest
Enough to keep the chill off in stores
Fit well and color was right on. Will go with many items purchased through BLAIR. Weight of yarn will span all seasons.

Run, run away!
I have several nice sweater vests purchased from Appleseed's, a sister merchant of Blair, so I thought I'd pick up another in a different color. What a mistake! I can't adequately describe this vest except to say it's a thousand little "pills" with a limp, stretched out piece of sweater attached. And, at the sale price plus s&h, it wasn't a really low price. I'm keeping it to avoid the exorbitant return postage. It's going into the Good Will bag. I would try making it into a dog sweater from a pattern I saw in a magazine, but I don't think my dog would wear it! This is not a condemnation of the Blair family of stores; I'm usually satisfied with the clothes I buy from Appleseed's or The Tog Shopl.

Not as expected
Did not hang well after 1 washing. I really liked the color, though.

Well made, good fit
I have two of these vests and I love them. I wear them over long-sleeved t shirts, blouses, etc. and they really add a lot to the outfit. The knit is small and well made.

large and shapeless
I'm disappointed with this purchase. I made a concerted effort to check my measurements against the measurements given on Blair's size chart on their website. When the vest arrived, it was huge. Because the cost of returning it was so expensive, I will try to alter it on my sewing machine. Once again, I'm reminded of why I like to order on Amazon with my Prime membership. I can return items without additional cost.

the fabric is soft yet sturdy . It looks more expensive that it is. Makes me look fabulous

Love this sweater vest.
The Berry sweater vest is the perfect match to a pair of slacks I already had. Received many compliments on the outfit paired with a white blouse.

BEWARE OF SHRINKAGE
I ordered the sweater vest in a larger size than I felt I needed, but with the yarn content, I was afraid of shrinkage. And it was a good thing, because it shrank up about 3 or 4 inches, both in overall length, and also in the arm holes after the first washing/drying. The knit is not as tight as I would like, and definitely needs pressing. All in all, it works to wear with jeans and long sleeved tees or turtlenecks.
