Wore belt for 2 days and the buckle area is torn away.

Belt has trouble staying tight.
At first this belt was great, but after a couple weeks of use, the belt loosens very easily, especially when I bend over. The buckle mechanism relies on friction between two faces of the ribbed fabric of the belt to resist loosening up. I think the ribs of the belt fabric where the two faces meet has worn down, so they produce less friction against each other. Otherwise, the belt and components all seem to be of good quality
If you tear off the small tag sewn into the stitching of the leather binding for the buckles, you can wear the other, reverse side of the belt, so it faces out. Then the reverse side looks the same as the front side. With a good hard yank, the small tag pulled out from the stitching cleanly and caused no damage to the belt.
Aesthetically, like another reviewer said, the belt at 1-1/4 inches wide is a tad narrow for a casual belt. Otherwise it looks good. The sizing of the belt is consistent with the sizing chart.
I still use the belt, but I have to tighten it a lot -- a small hassle.

Not 1-1/2" wide
I've always wanted a web belt. When I read that this one is advertised at 1-1/2" wide I jump at the purchase. According to the specs this would be excellent for jean wear. Unfortunately it doesn't look as good. If I had to guess I would say the belt is a little over 1" wide.
