Rated 5 out of 5 by DawnROW I love my Challis skirt.
Over the years I have purchased several different colors and patterns of challis skirts from Blair. They are so easily cared for - machine washed, dried and ready for wear. Full elastic waist band and two inseam side pockets

Lightweight material, but very comfortable. Can be dressed for casual or evening. Wish they had other colors.

I've noticed that some clothes are misnamed... like this Challis skirt. Challis is NOT woven polyester, but a rayon or rayon blend. Nor other pants that are labeled wrongly as Poplin or Twill. Those should be cotton, not polyester.
I don't like polyester for summer wear, it doesn't breath and is too hot.

I chose the purple version. It drapes nicely and was a nice Easter skirt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NovBarb would not recommend unless you live in Florida
The main problem with this skirt is that the material is very thin. It's more like scarf material. I would not wear it in the winter, unless you live in Florida. Also the waist elastic is too tight for my comfort. I would not recommend it, but will keep it as the cost of sending it back is more than it's worth.

I like the gored flow of this skirt with elastic waist.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jag16 Gored skirt that matched sweater I bought.
This skirt looked like the picture, but was extremely lightweight.
I was thinking it would have been better in a heavier material to
hold onto some of its shape when worn.

Firstly, this was so dark that the pretty pattern didn't show. If there was more flair to the gores, it might have been more stylish. as it is, it was so narrow, it seemed like an old lady skirt. we may be older, but we still listened to Stevie Nicks, and now listen to Florence and the Machine.
