John Blair Insulated Leather Boots
Not a Great Fit
As they say....You do get what you pay for. The fact that it was leather was great and the price was great but the fit is extremely poor. The strap closure was a bad idea. The strap closure does not provide a secure fit and therefore your foot moves a lot in this boot. If it was a lace-up product it would be great.

Love these boots!
I bought these boots to wear while shoveling snow, and was very happily surprised about how comfortable and warm they are. Since I got them on clearance, the price was great. Altogether, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Poor quality, I expected better.
I purchased these boots 10 months ago. I've worn them maybe 10 times since then. They are insulated, I wanted them for the snow, but we haven't had any in over a year in my area, so I've used them sometimes just for walking my dog in muddy areas when it rains. They do fit perfectly, although I didn't feel they were tight enough, but I could deal with it because they felt comfortable. I went with the velcro attachment because of all the bad reviews I read on the ones with the zippers, with them breaking. The velcro on this boot is just as bad. The velcro is coming off the boot, making the boot useless.
It is not a high, or even a medium quality product and I'm sorry I didn't spend more for a better boot. It was too much money to spend for something that lasts 10 wears.

Great traction in the snow. Fit good for size 13 foot. Could use a bit more insulation. The large strap across the front is a bit awkward and maybe could be smaller. Sturdy shoe with good traction for those that have a problem walking in the snow.

After 2 yrs the're still holding up & keeping dry
I bought these 2 yrs ago because I needed a winter boot with a hook & loop closure due to having only one articilate hand. They have preformed beyond expectations. They are holding up still maintaining their waterproof and insulation properties.I must add I havw treated them twice with Mink oil. as I do all my leather shoes.
I've had $$$ boots in the past that didn't hold up like these.
