The colors on this product is too bright.
The colors on this shirt is much brighter than it appears in the sales catalog. The texture of the material is ok and the size is accurate. The shirt looks like a clown shirt.

This shirt was better than I expected
I am giving this shirt as a Christmas gift. Therefore I cannot give a review on fit or satisfaction from the recipient, but, I can say from the appearance and feel of the shirt, it should be a good review.
The quality is more than I expected.

Blair Velour Shirts with pocket
Let me start by saying that I have purchased "5" Blair Velour shirts. Black, Purple, Pewter, Red and Emerald. When I first found these shirts in a Blair Catalog, I was astounded. Velour Shirts were very popular back in the 1960's and early 1970's. I ordered 3 on sale months ago, then decided to order a Red and Emerald to complete my collection. I ordered the Blue shirt for my brother for Christmas. I have had people(especially ladies)comment upon how comfortable the shirts look like they would be. The comfort of the Velour Shirt is unsurpassed. Another reviewer commented that he didn't like the shirt pocket. For me, that was a selling point. Without the pocket, I wouldn't have purchased the shirts. I also really like the banded bottoms and sleeves. Because I have a size 28.5 sleeve, I had to get the sleeves shortened by my seamstress. That was accomplished without any detriment to the shirts. And, of course, the button up plackards. So, to sum up, the Velour Shirt is a high quality Blair item and a terrific buy. I can wear them with dress pants, docker slacks, or jeans. I haven't tried any under a Sports Coat yet. I may, but I'm not really sure if that will work. If you have family, friends or any other relatives in their late 50's to 60's, I highly recommend you get them one of these Velours. I'm sure that they would be both grateful and surprised. The colors of these shirts are remarkable, and very distinguished. OK, I've said it all. Go get yourself at least one of these Velour Shirts. You won't regret it.
