John Blair Banded Collar Shirt
Good Shirt, color was off
Nice Shirt. Suitable for work or formal occasions. I did not care for the color. My husband loved the style.

Tucked in or not, top button fastened or not. this shirt fits great and looks great. All I needed to do was iron the wrinkles out once I took it out of the bag.

I purchased one of these in coral and found it to be so comfortable I purchased three more. I wear them regularly for work. If they had more colors, I would purchase more. The material is comfortable and falls well.
As one reviewer mentions, it is not a light weight shirt, but I have not found that to be a problem even in Texas in the summer. Of course I am inside most of the time for work, so I wouldn't expect this to be an issue.
Pretty sure I bought them when they were on sale and that made them a great value.

I got this on sale about half price. This made it a good buy. The shirt seems to run large. I am right on the borderline of sizes so I went up. It is large through the body but the neck just fit. It is lightweight and soft. I looks like it's made well. I'll wear it even though it is too big since I like comfort and it's not over the top too big. I wouldn't pay full price for this and would recommend it only at the sale price

More banded collar shirts
I am not a first time buyer of this great shirt, this product is the best fit and good value, but you don't have a lot to choose from why is that, the banded collar shirt is well constructed

No redeeming factor.
I have never been a fan of products that contain synthetic fibers.
The Banded Collar Shirt is no exception. I bought it simply because I could not find any other store that offered a short sleeve banded collar shirt using ALL natural fibers. This particular shirt is very heavy for the summer and the fact that it has a great proportion of polyester in its content makes it non-breathable. If you are a person that usually wears a medium size, I recommend that if you buy, ask for a small, as it tends to run large. The garment is well made and if you do not mind synthetics, it offers relative good value.
Blair used to put out a separate catalog called Irvine Park, where
you could find a great many items made with natural fibers (linen, cotton, silk, wool, etc.). Nowadays however, it appears that 95 to 98% of the clothing in the Blair catalog has as a main component polyester. To whoever is reponsible for purchasing
clothes for Blair: please cease and desist with this unnatural attraction to synthetics. Come back to all natural fibers. Are you listening?
