This top fit me perfectly (according to the size chart). The material is nice and thick, not flimsy. The color is beautiful. If it had been a little less in price it would have been better, but I had been looking and looking and this top just hit me as different in a good way. I am very pleased with it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by onlineshopper5 Wanted it for the color & plaid design
This shirt is O.K. for the upper portion of the piece. I was a bit undone as the bottom area is way too full. I will have to bring out my good ole' sewing machine to take it in and shorten it! When one is on the over weight "side", having a shirt that is too full makes one look a lot heavier.
I've been looking for Buffalo plaid shirts or sweaters that come in purple/black and also green/black plaids as I found some fabulous semi-dressy flats in Buffalo plaids using those colors. Most plaids such as these only come in thick flannel fabric or fleece. I wish that designers would think out of the box and take certain designs (such as plaids) and create dressy designs or even a pants suit with fully plaid tops and maybe stripes of "plaid" fabric down the sides or with plaid pant cuffs!
Same idea with thin wale corduroy. Sometimes I see pants with a matching jacket, but what about just a matching long or 3/4 sleeve top??? It could even be "shirted tee" w/o buttons where the collar and cuffed sleeves have the corduroy fabric!
Why do designers only have black/red or black/white Buffalo plaids? Can't anyone create fabrics with a little more color? How about a matching bag or cap? Buffalo plaids (in my opinion) can have the most impact yet need other colors! Plaids that are too busy tend to be hard to match or are cheap looking!
I long for the days when Hollywood made fashions that matched and complimented each other. How about bringing back the high end fashions that Doris Day wore in her movies? I loved seeing pretty outfits where the lining of her fabulous coats matched the outfit underneath! THOSE were the days of intense fashion drama!

Bottom half of shirt is xlarge compared to shirt size.
Material not up to quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tuit baggy, poor quality fabric
The shirt is very large, baggy shape. Shrunk some in wash/dryer. The weight is fine (light), but the fabric pilled. Do not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gagax2 Perfect shirt for cooler weather
These shirts are great for cooler temps. The flannel is soft and of a nice medium weight...not heavy, not flimsy. The 3/4 length sleeves are warm, but at that length I find I don't have to keep rolling them up to do chores (dishes for one thing...ugh). The fullness over the belly is appreciated since that's where I carry my weight; but it doesn't look huge on me. The colors are rich and bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lily5 Love everything about this shirt
This runs a little large. I first ordered my normal size (XL). I had to return it for a size smaller (L). I love this shirt. It is a lightweight flannel that can be worn going into fall, and all through winter. I burn up in heavy flannel, and normally don't wear flannel at all. It also has 3/4 length sleeves that makes it even more wearable for me. It has a trapeze-like flair to it that never clings to you. Like I said, I love everything about this shirt! I'm thinking about getting another color. You will not be disappointed with this purchase,
