Frequently Asked Questions
PRODUCT REVIEW QUESTIONS
Q. How do I write a product review?
A. It’s fun and easy to submit your review. Simply browse to the product that you purchased or received as a gift and would like to review. On the product page, you’ll see a link to "Write a Review". (In some cases, you may simply see a link to "Be the First to Write a Review".) Click on that link. You will need to log in if you’re a registered shopper. If you’re not registered, you’ll need to create a Blair.com account. Once you’re completely registered and logged in, you’ll be taken to a page that asks about you, lets you rate the product and even write your own review. Your review will be checked to make sure the language and content are appropriate to put on our Web site and, once approved, should appear within 72 hours.
Q. What do the blue stars mean?
A. The stars represent our rating scale. 5 stars = excellent, 4 stars = good, 3 stars = average, 2 stars = fair, 1 star = poor.
Q. Why do I have to register to write a review?
A. You must register and log in before you can submit a review so that later you will be able to look back at all the reviews you’ve written. Other customers will also be able to see all the reviews you’ve written, but they’ll only know you by the nickname you supply as you submit your first review. That helps them tell if you have similar standards, so they know if they tend to agree with your opinions.
Q. Why do I need to create a nickname when I write a review?
A. You’ll be known in the Blair community of shoppers and reviewers simply by your nickname. It’s an easy way to put a "name" to all the reviews you submit, while still protecting your privacy.
Q. How long does it take for my review to appear on your Web site?
A. Your review should appear on Blair.com within 72 hours. Please keep in mind that all reviews are checked (by an independent third party) before being put on our Web site to make sure that the language and content are appropriate. The language must be suitable for "kids" of any age, and content should be product-specific without any reference to other companies. Any reviews that do not pass approval will not be posted on our Web site. And please note that only the written review matters in the approval process, not whether the product was given a rating of 1 star or 5.
